The Artists’ Network and Leslie Grove Gallery put a call out to celebrate the voices and aesthetics of women artists. The response was overwhelming and the message was resounding. Vital Signs was an experience of the diverse and dynamic works of 30 selected artists presenting the nuances of life lived through the eyes of women.
Exhibition dates: February 25th- March 15th
Gallery proceeds from works sold were donated to Nellies.org to aid in their support for women and children experiencing oppression such as violence, poverty and or homelessness.
International Women’s Day is celebrated on March 8th every year to acknowledge and honour the achievements of women all over the world.
