ABOUT INSPIRED
What motivates artists to create? It may be rooted in an intention to convey emotions, make a political statement, respond to the wonders of nature, embrace the richness of color, or pay homage to another artist’s legacy. In this diverse exhibition, ten artists delve into a profound personal inspiration that drives their creative process, resulting in a cohesive series of works. The exhibition encompasses a wide range of art forms, including drawings, paintings, sculptures, and mosaics.
Lennox St Artists is a community of emerging artists who share a passion for art making and a strong desire to propel our artistic growth. Each member of the group is an alumnus of the celebrated former adult art program at Central Tech School in Toronto.
After a 3 year hiatus, Inspired is our first show since the COVID lockdowns. We previously exhibited at the Origins cafe in 2020 and Hugh’s Room in 2016.
This year, in addition to our work, we are highlighting sculptures by students currently enrolled in Central Tech’s high school art program.
